On its northern edge, we can see remains of the ancient Dorian city, including an impressive port and its acropolis with a fortress, various cisterns and wells, two cemeteries, and more. A beautiful and easy 30-minute path over rocks and sand dunes leads from the beach to the entrance of the archaeological site.
